Dark, loose, huge Great news for all rock fans: with "Giants Of All Sizes", a new Elbow album is due in 2019. The Brits wrote and recorded nine songs for it at Hill Studio in Hamburg, The Dairy in Brixton, Studio 604 in Vancouver and Blueprint Studios in Salford. Other sessions took place at their home studio in Manchester. Like the last four studio albums, 'Giants Of All Sizes' was produced and mixed by keyboardist Craig Potter. The record also features several guest appearances, with Jesca Hooper, The Plumedores and London newcomer Chilli Chilton contributing to one song. In August, Elbow unveiled the first preview of the record in the form of the single "Dexter & Sinister". And it shows: 'Giants Of All Sizes' has become a lyrically dark but musically relaxed album. An absolutely exciting combination.

English rock band Elbow releases their eighth studio album Giants of All Sizes, featuring guest appearances by Jesca Hoop, The Plumedores and Chilli Chilton. The band's singer and songwriter Guy Garvey describes the album as "an angry lament that finds redemption in family, friends, the band and a new life". The album deals with moments of deep personal loss while reflecting on the injustice and divisiveness in the world.
