The Best Are Back: Four years after the orchestral album "Synthesis", Evanescence will finally return from the studio in 2021 with a new LPm: "The Bitter Truth" is album number five. The American alternative rock band recorded twelve songs for it. The album was produced by his old friend Nick Raskulinecz. Back in 2011, he was behind the direction of the album "Evanescence". With the singles "Yeah Right", "Use My Voice", "Wasted On You" and "The Game Is Over", the quintet around singer Amy Lee already presented four listening impressions of "The Bitter Truth". And they make it clear that this band is still one of the best in their genre. On the fifth album we finally get to see brand new rock songs in the typical Evanescence guise again. P.S. In addition to the standard CD and double LP, "The Bitter Truth" is also available in a limited edition fan box. It includes the new album, a bonus CD with live footage from the Rock Falcon studio, a magazine with a foreword and exclusive material by Amy Lee, an art print and a making-of cassette.
