Demon Days is the second studio album by British virtual band Gorillaz.It was released on 11 May 2005 in Japan, 15 May in the United Kingdom and 23 May in the United States. The album, produced by Danger Mouse, was recorded between 2003 and 2004. The album debuted at number one in the United Kingdom and was certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry. It was also certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipments of more than 1,000,000 units. The album spawned four singles, "Feel Good Inc.", "DARE", "Kids with Guns" and "El Mañana". "Feel Good Inc." was the group's first single to reach number one in the UK. The album Demon Days, which was a critical and commercial success, was ranked by several publications as one of the best albums of 2000.
