The Rising Sun Collection is an album John Lee Hooker, released in 1994. The album was produced by Ry Cooder and features Cooder, Van Morrison, Keith Richards and Carlos Santana. The album reached number 191 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the RIAA.

"Black Night Is Falling" features blues legend John Lee Hooker at his concert best, backed by an energetic band consisting of John Garcia (guitar), Steve Jones (b) and Larry "Wild Man" Martin on drums. The concert was recorded in 1977 at the legendary blues club "The Rising Sun Celebrity Jazz Club" in Montreal and featured a crackling version of Hooker's classic "Boom Boom" as well as the bar anthem "One Bourbon One Scotch One Beer". A previously unreleased 17-minute jam of "Rock Steady" and three remixes of "Rock Steady" are now available on CD.
