Simply deluxe Marillion are re-releasing their album "Afraid Of Sunlight" as a deluxe CD box set and vinyl box set in 2019. "Afraid Of Sunlight" is the eighth studio album from the progressive rock legends. Originally released in 1995, the new CD edition includes four CDs and a Blu-ray. The vinyl box set contains five LPs. Both boxes include a new version of "Afraid Of Sunlight", which was remixed by Michael Hunter earlier this year. The CD release also includes the original mix by album producer Dave Meegan. In addition, the CD collection includes an LP recording of the "Live At The Rotterdam Ahoy Arena" concert on September 29, 1995. Last but not least, the Blu-ray version of the CD contains the original 1995 mix as well as a new mix in stereo and surround (48/24 LPCM Stereo Remix; 48/24 DTS 5.1 Mix; 48/24 LPCM 5.1 Mix). In addition, there are nine bonus tracks from the 1999 mastering edition, 17 previously unreleased tracks (studio jams, early versions, etc.), a documentary (interviews with Steve Hogarth, Steve Rothery, Mark Kelly, Pete Trewavas and Ian Mosley) and the "Beautiful" promo video. These box sets get the pulse of Marillion fans racing: here are the deluxe editions of "Afraid Of Sunlight".

Afraid of Sunlight is the ninth studio album by British rock band Marillion , released in 1995. The album was recorded at The Farm residential studio in Surrey, England and was produced by Nick Davis. It is the band's first album released after their departure from EMI record label and the first to be released on their own label, Racket Records. The album reached number 9 in the UK Albums Chart.
