Marillion: Script For A Jester's Tear (2020 Remix) versión en vinilo LP en remasterizado edición. Esta edición en concreto se lanzó en Reino Unido en la editorial Parlophone Records Ltd. el día 30. julio 2021.

Debut in a new sound Marillion are re-releasing their debut album "Script For A Jester's Tear" in 2021 as a 2020 stereo remix on 180g vinyl. The new vinyl edition has been cut from the original vinyl masters and mixed by Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh. It is released in a gatefold sleeve with the original artwork. A remastered version on CD is also available. "Script For A Jester's Tear" was originally released in 1983, recorded between December 1982 and February 1983 at The Marquee Studios in London and produced by Nick Tauber. It is also the only Marillion album to feature the contributions of drummer and co-founder Mick Pointer, alongside vocalist Fish, guitarists Steve Rothery and Pete Trewavas, and keyboardist Mark Kelly. "Script For A Jester's Tear" is now considered a milestone in British neo-prog and was intended as part of a trilogy along with the subsequent albums "Fugazi" (1984) and "Misplaced Childhood" (1985). The album contains a total of six songs. All of the songs had been performed by Marillion several times before, with the exception of the title track, which they composed in the studio. Thanks to the hits "He Knows You Know" and "Garden Party", which reached No. 35 and No. 1 respectively in the UK charts, "Script For A Jester's Tear" became a commercial success in the UK, reaching No. 7 in the album sales chart. It was also certified platinum. The album cover, by painter and graphic artist Mark Wilkinson, depicts a sad court jester with a violin and quill and contains various references to songs and lyrics, some of which were not released until later Marillion albums. P.S. In addition to "Script For A Jester's Tear," Marillion is re-releasing their second album, "Fugazi," in 2021 in a deluxe edition with three CDs and a Blu-ray, as well as on four LPs.

Álbum abarca todos los géneros Rock, Rock progresivo y Rock artístico. 2020 Stereo Remix Vinyl.
