Álbum disponible en vinilo (LP) y CD en 2 ediciones. The Damned's "Music for Pleasure" is an album that perfectly captures the punk rock spirit of the late 70s. With its raw, energetic sound and rebellious lyrics, the album is a must-read for anyone interested in punk music. Tracks like "New Rose" and "Smash It Up" are sure to get your adrenaline pumping, while slower songs like "Love Song" provide a nice contrast. Overall, Music for Pleasure is a well-crafted album that will appeal to both punk and classic rock fans. Álbum abarca todos los géneros Rock y Punk.

The Damned got to work on their second album at a great pace. It was released in the same year (1977) as their debut album. To avoid the trap of repetition, they hired Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) to produce. In the short term, this was not a good move, as the obvious link between punk and Pink Floyd did not sit well with fans. Many felt that the new ideals had been betrayed. From today's perspective, not only does this criticism come into perspective, but it is also clear that the technical refinement of the production did not take away from the songs' ferocious energy, but simply made them more understandable and better.
