The story of Uriah Heep has been 40 years in the making and is a testament to the band's talent and perseverance in recording and performing. Led by original member and guitarist Mick Box since 1982, Uriah Heep returned in 2008 after a decade-long recording hiatus with a brand new studio album (Wake The Sleeper) that wowed critics and fans alike. Equator, the band's sixteenth studio album, was produced by Tony Platt (AC/DC, Foreigner) and was the last to feature vocalist Pete Goalby, ending this strong association. Equator was also the band's last album to chart in the UK. This expanded edition adds 4 bonus tracks with a non-album b-side to the single Backstage Girl, as well as a live version of the classic Heep Gypsy. All are previously unreleased on CD and enrich this somewhat overlooked Uriah Heep offering. The release of Uriah Heep's sixteenth studio album to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Re-mastered & Expanded to include 4 bonus tracks previously unreleased on CD.
