With "Starz", Yung Lean, the pioneer if not founder of his genre, releases his seventh LP containing the singles "Violence", "Boylife in EU" and "Pikachu", and thus the successor to the mixtape "Poison Ivy" released in 2018. "Starz" was produced exclusively by his faithful companion Whitearmor. The album was written in a remote old ballet hall in the Swedish outback. "Starz" is an album that only an unwavering veteran like Jonatan Leandoer Håstad can release. Still a very young man who can look back on a remarkable career that has left an impression and footprint all over the world, despite, or precisely because, he seems to live on his own distant planet.
