80s British Pop Group

Eighth Wonder was a British pop band active in the 1980s. Formed in 1983, the group was fronted by singer and actress Patsy Kensit, who would later gain fame for her acting roles. The band initially garnered attention with their single "I'm Not Scared," written by the Pet Shop Boys, which became a top ten hit in several European countries. Eighth Wonder released their debut and only studio album, "Fearless," in 1988, which included successful singles such as "Cross My Heart" and "Baby Baby." Despite their initial success, the band disbanded in 1989 after their musical style fell out of popular favor and they struggled to maintain chart success. Their brief but impactful career left a mark on the late '80s pop scene, and they are often remembered for their catchy tunes and stylish music videos.
